Shoutout to my 2016 self who thought ketchup was a universal sauce for everything
After a friend in Chicago saw me put it on scrambled eggs and looked horrified, I realized maybe it's not for every dish. Anyone else have a condiment they've had to retire from overuse?

Remember that ranch phase though. Did you ever try to quit cold turkey or did you just slowly cut back?

My college roommate in Austin put ketchup on her mac and cheese and I almost called the police. That was the day I realized my own ranch dressing habit needed to stop. I was putting it on pizza, fries, even sandwiches that really didn't need it. It just made everything taste the same after a while. What was your go-to sauce before you saw the light?
