Soy sauce popcorn won over my skeptical friends

I get told it's gross all the time. Made it for our movie night last Friday. Everyone went back for seconds. Feels good to be right about this.

Bet they were all clutching their pearls when you brought out the soy sauce bottle. Nothing funnier than watching people go from "eww" to secretly hoarding the last handful. My cousin made that same face for pickle juice popcorn until he ate half the bowl. Guess we're making converts by the bucketful, one weird snack at a time. So much for gross, right?

Wait, pickle juice popcorn? That's actually a thing? I've only ever seen people use the powder from the seasoning packets. Pouring straight juice sounds like a soggy mess. My friend tried that with hot sauce once and we ended up with a bowl of mush. The dry stuff is the way to go for sure.
