TIL that the best tacos I've had weren't in Mexico, but in a gas station in Arizona.

People always say you have to go to the source, but that roadside stop proved them wrong. The flavors were just more balanced to me.

Actually, Arizona's great tacos still come from Mexican culinary traditions though.

Watched my buddy argue with a street vendor in Nogales about whether his carne asada tacos were Sonoran or Arizona style. The guy just pointed at his abuela rolling tortillas in the back and said "This is just my house." My friend shut up and ate three more.
