Visiting Thailand made me see that pad thai is too sweet and not that great

I had pad thai in Bangkok and it was too sweet, so I'd rather eat something savory.

Did you try it outside tourist spots, where it's less sweet?

Disagree, found it perfectly balanced in Bangkok.

Bangkok felt totally off to me, @danield92.
