Pro tip: My e-reader's comeback after a cache clear

I finally got my old e-reader to stop freezing up every few pages. It was so slow that I almost gave up on it (which would have been a shame, since I love the screen). After digging through some forums, I found a tip about clearing the system cache, not just the app cache. Did that, and now it turns pages like it did when I first got it, no more waiting. It's a small thing, but it feels great to have fixed it myself instead of buying a new one. Makes me think how handy those deep-dive review tips can be for keeping gadgets alive.

On Mobileread, did they specify the EXACT cache location?

Did they mention if the cache path changes with different devices? In my experience, those forums can have outdated info if the OS updates.

Speaking of annoying tech, my phone battery started dying at 20% right when I was out. Felt so good to finally fix that myself too.
