Got into a similar chat with my cousin last week. We were both surprised how much the zoom and image stability have improved. It really makes you notice how good those cameras have gotten.

Wonder if we're hitting a point where the tech handles tough conditions better too. Like, does all that fancy zoom and stability actually help when someone's moving fast or the light is bad? I still get blurry shots indoors unless the room is super bright. What's your take on low light performance these days?

Took a photo of my cat last night in the living room and it looks like a gray ghost smudge. I'm pretty sure the problem is the photographer, not the camera. The new sensors do grab way more light, but I still need to learn how to hold the thing steady for more than half a second.
