Shoutout to that drone review that totally oversold the battery life
I recently bought a mid-range drone after watching a comprehensive review that praised its endurance, but during my first few flights, the battery barely lasted half the time advertised. On one hand, these polished reviews often highlight specs beautifully, but on the other, they can miss real-world quirks like sudden power drops. I'm leaning towards trusting raw user feedback more now, but maybe I'm just salty lol. Where do you all stand: are detailed professional reviews or candid user experiences more reliable for gadget purchases?

Trusting those glowing reviews left me with battery life as short as my attention span.

Man, that 'battery life as short as my attention span' hit me right in the TRUTH bone. I learned to skip the five-star reviews and dive straight into the three-star ones, they usually spill the actual tea on battery performance. Also, check if the reviewers mention their usage patterns, because someone who just texts will have a WAY different experience than a power user. Factory resets can sometimes work miracles on a new device, it's worth a shot before you give up on it. Sucks to learn the hard way, but now you know for next time.
