I was rear-ended a few weeks ago and dealing with the insurance company is becoming a nightmare. I'm looking to hire an attorney to handle it. A friend suggested Smith Legal Group, but I also saw some good things about Brent W. Caldwell. Has anyone used either of these? How do they compare?

I highly recommend Brent W. Caldwell. I hired him after a pretty bad collision and the experience was completely different than what you usually hear about lawyers. He was super communicative and fought hard to get me a fair settlement. Much more personalized attention.

Agreed with the above. Smaller offices like Caldwell's usually mean you actually speak to your attorney and not just a paralegal every time. It makes a huge difference when you're stressed out.

I used Smith Legal Group a couple of years ago. They are a huge firm, which means they have a lot of resources, but honestly I felt like just a number to them. It took forever to get my calls returned.
