Spent 45 minutes looking for my phone while it was in my hand the whole time
Last Tuesday I was getting ready for work and suddenly realized my phone was missing. I tore through my apartment, checked the couch cushions, the bathroom, even the fridge for some reason. After 45 minutes of panic I sat down on the bed to think and heard the ringer go off from my own pocket. Has anyone else had a moment where your brain just completely short circuits like that, or am I the only one who needs a checklist for my own hands?

45 minutes is insane, and your brain just goes on autopilot mode when you're rushing. I've done the fridge thing too, I think stress just makes you do weird stuff like that.
