Found out my neighbor's mailbox has been missing for 8 months and nobody noticed
So I was walking my dog last week and decided to actually count mailboxes on our street, you know, just bored. Turns out house #214 hasn't had a mailbox since March, the post is just sitting there empty. I asked the guy who lives there and he said it got knocked over by a snowplow and he just never replaced it. But here's the thing, he still gets his mail somehow, he said the mailman just hands it to him at the door. That got me wondering how many other houses in town are just quietly skipping the whole mailbox thing. Has anyone else ever caught something weird like this on their own street?

My neighbor did the same thing after a windstorm took theirs out. I ended up just handing them their mail when I picked up mine, it was actually sort of nice getting to chat for a minute each day.
