My gig as a professional line sitter ended with me holding a llama in Phoenix

Got paid $75 to hold a spot outside a pop-up shop, but the client showed up 4 hours late with a therapy llama in tow. Apparently the store was for llama-themed merch and she needed pics for her blog. Has anyone else's side gig spiral into animal handling duty?
