My $40 security light stopped the midnight dumpster noise
Neighbor kept using the shared dumpster at 2 AM, banging the lid so loud I woke up every night. Bought a motion sensor light for 40 bucks and pointed it right at the bins. Now he walks off real quick and I actually sleep. Still salty I had to pay for his courtesy though. Anyone else buy gear just to fix someone else's bad habit?

Man, that's genius. I did the same thing with a cheap pack of motion lights for my driveway after the mail carrier kept dropping packages at my door at like 6 AM and scaring my dog half to death. The light goes on, the dog starts barking, and now they just toss the box and sprint. Still stings spending my own cash to train someone else's crew. But honestly, a full night of sleep is worth way more than forty bucks.
