Serious question, drone videos for selling properties are everywhere now
Honestly, in my town, every agent seems to use drone shots for listing videos. Tbh, it shows the whole lot and nearby parks really well. Ngl, I feel like people might offer more money just from the aerial view. Like, a plain backyard can look huge from up high.

My old neighborhood in West Creek had three listings go up last week, all with drone shots. It totally helps buyers see how close the house is to the school or the walking trail behind the lot, which you just can't get from the ground. But honestly, you have to be picky, you know? If there's nothing but other houses right on top of you, maybe skip the drone. Save it for properties where the land or location is the real selling point.

Kinda disagree on skipping drones for close houses. A top-down view can show stuff like roof issues or how much backyard you actually have. In my last place, the drone pic revealed a shared driveway that ground shots missed. Buyers might care about that stuff, so it's worth considering even in packed areas.

What hidden problems are worth showing from above that would actually make a buyer pause? I mean, @the_jade has a point about seeing a bad roof or a shared driveway, but idk if that helps sell the house or just shows its flaws. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like agents only want to show the pretty stuff from the air, not the big problems. If a buyer sees something weird in a drone shot, they might just move on to the next listing instead of offering more money.
