That $70 wine fridge sat empty for 14 months before I sold it

I bought this fancy countertop wine fridge back in 2022 thinking I'd become a wine person, you know the type with the corkscrew collection and the tasting notes app. Turns out I drink maybe two bottles a month, usually cheap stuff from Trader Joe's that doesn't need temperature control. It just sat there humming in the corner, taking up counter space in my tiny apartment in Cleveland, mocking me every time I grabbed a beer from the regular fridge. Sold it last week for $30 and honestly the relief was better than any wine I ever stored in it. Anyone else buy something that made them feel like a grown-up but was actually just expensive furniture?
