Went to a small theater in Boise, the no-phone policy caught me off guard

Checked out this tiny independent cinema downtown last Saturday and they made everyone put phones in those locked pouches. I actually forgot how nice it is to watch a movie without someone's screen lighting up. Has anyone else been to a place that does that, or do you think it's too much?

Phones in locked pouches? That's wild. Haven't seen that outside of comedy shows. Guess Boise's got more nerve than I thought. Honestly, it sounds kinda great. Last movie I saw, some guy next to me scrolled through Instagram the whole time. Bright as a damn lighthouse. People forget there's a whole screen in front of them. Big one. Costs more than their phone. That theater's doing something right. Might actually pay attention to the plot for once. Bet the owner's tired of dealing with idiots. Good for them.
