Shoutout to the guy at Home Depot who told me to use a sponge instead of a mop on my laminate floors
After I slipped and cracked my phone screen last Tuesday trying to mop with too much water, I grabbed a big pack of cellulose sponges for $8 and now I just damp mop by hand and the floors look way better with zero streaks or bubbles.

Sucks about your phone screen, I've been there. Ditching the mop and going with a microfiber cloth and a spray bottle of vinegar water is what finally worked for me, no streaks at all. Just gotta make sure you wring it out real good so you're not leaving puddles behind.
