Watched a guy at the county fair flip a spatula 47 times without dropping it
Stood there for 10 minutes counting. He was just flipping burgers but the spatula thing was pure muscle memory. Made me wonder how many useless skills I could pick up if I just practiced every day for a year. Anyone else ever fixate on some random skill a stranger has?

Start keeping track of something small you do every day. I used to count how many times I could bounce a golf ball on a toothbrush handle in one minute. It doesn't matter what it is. Just pick a thing and do it for five minutes a day. That burger flipper probably didn't even realize he was building that skill until he got bored and started counting. The trick is to make it something you can do while waiting for other stuff, like during commercial breaks or while your coffee brews. You'll be surprised how fast your hands just figure it out when you give them the same task over and over.

That’s a cool idea but I’ve gotta say something. Bouncing a golf ball on a toothbrush handle is way harder than it sounds. I tried it once and gave up after like 10 seconds. The burger flipper thing though, that’s a different kind of muscle memory. Flipping a patty is more about wrist snap and timing, not counting reps. Still, you’re right that doing something tiny every day adds up. I do the same with juggling two oranges while my coffee brews. It’s not pretty but I’m way less clumsy now.
