Local update: VR demo days at the library are getting my neighbors hooked.
My mom tried a VR tour of Paris and now she won't stop talking about it.

Ever hear about my friend's mom who tried a space VR demo? Now she wants to visit Mars for real.

Have you seen those free NASA VR things you can just pull up online? I got totally geeked out after checking one out last year, like just flying over Mars in my living room. What worked for me was going deeper into the free stuff, @the_daniel, like those planetary flythroughs that show how crazy big the canyons are. It kinda makes the dream feel bigger, not smaller, because you see more details you'd miss otherwise. Maybe she should try some of those longer video tours next.
