TIL that ignoring hip hinge form on deadlifts is a one-way ticket to agony
Honestly, I pushed through a heavy deadlift session last week even though my form felt off. Tbh, now I'm dealing with sharp pain in my lower back every time I bend over, and it's messing with my work and workouts. Ngl, has anyone else had to completely relearn their deadlift technique after an injury, and how did you start?

Start with just the bar and film every rep.

After coaching beginners for a decade, filming every bar rep seems unnecessarily meticulous.

Filming every single rep sounds intense, but I get why it might help. What are you looking for specifically in the footage, like subtle form breaks or just consistency? Always curious how people use video feedback beyond just posting highlights.
