Dead mall food courts tell you way more about a town than the anchor stores do
Everyone posts the same pics of the old Macy's and the busted escalator, but the food court tells the real story. At the one in Lima, Ohio, I counted 9 spots and every single sign was a local place, no chains at all, which means that mall was the only game in town for people who wanted to eat somewhere that wasn't a diner. What's the weirdest local spot you've found still hanging on in a dead food court?
