Found a time capsule in the old Meriden Square food court

Last month I finally got into the Meriden Square mall in Connecticut, the one that's been closed since 2019. The food court was still fully set up, tables and chairs and all, with a layer of dust like a bad snow. I found a kid's sneaker under a table near the old Sbarro, and next to it a flip phone that still had 34% battery. Charging it took a few hours, and when it booted up there were photos from 2012, someone's birthday party with a Chuck E. Cheese cake. It felt weird holding that phone, like the person could walk up and ask for it back any second. Does anyone else find personal stuff like that, and do you try to track down the owner or just leave it where it was?
