Oh come on, you got exactly what you paid for from a Facebook Marketplace seller. $80 for something claiming to be a security camera from a random person online, what did you really expect? I mean think about it, if they were selling legit security gear for that cheap they'd be losing money on purpose. The fact that it's a working phone with a camera app is actually kind of genius if you ask me, that's worth more than $80 on its own. You could slap a magnet on the back and stick it on your fridge and it'd still make a decent little spy cam or baby monitor. People get so hung up on the label but the function is the same, it records video and sends it somewhere. Really feels like you dodged a worse scam where you'd get a box of rocks or nothing at all.
