That old security guard told me not to go into the east wing at the Willowbrook Mall...
Ignored him thinking he was just trying to scare me off, then got stuck in a collapsed elevator shaft for 2 hours. Anyone else ever get bad advice from mall security that backfired?

Did you try calling for help or anything? Honestly that's terrifying, I would've lost my mind in there.

Yeah, "lost my mind" pretty much sums it up, drew690. I mean, I called out for help like a dumb action movie hero, but my voice just bounced off those concrete walls like a bad echo. Honestly, I probably sounded like a scared cat stuck in a tree, (which, let's be real, is exactly what I was). The whole time I was thinking, "Great, I'm gonna be that guy they find in a week, holding a half-eaten bag of chips." My biggest fear wasn't even dying, it was the embarrassment of being rescued by a janitor with a crowbar. So yeah, I kept my dignity intact by just sitting there and waiting for the universe to have a good laugh at my expense.
