That one Saturday I found a working arcade machine in the dead mall

I was poking around the old Cortland Valley Mall last month, the one that's been closed since 2019, and stumbled into a storage room behind the food court. Somebody left a fully intact Street Fighter II arcade cabinet in there, dusty but still plugged in, and it actually turned on after I hit the power strip. Has anyone else found random working stuff in these places or did I just get stupid lucky?

It's funny how the stuff nobody wanted anymore ends up being the best finds.

Yeah actually the Street Fighter II cabinet being tucked away like that is a solid find, but just a heads up - if it was really sitting there since 2019, the monitor might need a recap soon. Those old CRTs don't like being unplugged for years then suddenly fired up again.
