The fountain at Willowbrook Mall finally gave up after 20 years
Went back to my favorite old spot last Saturday and the big fountain in the center court was bone dry with a giant crack running through the tile. Anyone else find a mall where the water features just stopped working overnight?

Wow, that's a bummer. Ngl, I always liked those mall fountains even if they just collected pennies and weird stuff. Honestly @paul346, "broke pipe" is way too optimistic for a place like Willowbrook. That crack sounds like years of neglect, not a quick fix. Probably cheaper for them to just let it dry up than actually pay someone to fix it. Tbh, that fountain probably gave up right after they stopped caring about the rest of the mall.
