The mall that became a church first, then got sealed off with pews still inside

Three years ago I snuck into that dead mall outside Tulsa, the one with the old Sears anchor, and the main hallway had been converted into a church before they shut it down. The baptismal font was still sitting in front of an Orange Julius, and someone had dragged a row of pews halfway across the food court like they gave up mid-service. Has anyone else come across a weird second life for a mall before it was totally abandoned, or is this just a Oklahoma thing?

Man, that's wild. Did you ever figure out if the church actually held services there, or was it more like one dude with a vision and a bunch of donated pews?
