TIL exploring a mall at midnight changes the whole vibe

I went to the old Northgate Mall in Seattle around midnight last month because everyone said daytime is safer, but the echo of my footsteps and the total silence gave me way better photos without anyone creeping around. Has anyone else gone at weird hours and found it less creepy than a busy afternoon?

Totally get that - the empty mall vibe is a whole different world once the stores close and the lights dim down. Idk, the quiet makes it feel more like a movie set than a shopping center.

Ha, I mean is it really a mall if there isn't at least one person power walking in a tracksuit at 2 AM? Idk, it kind of sounds like you got the VIP version of a zombie apocalypse photoshoot.
