Tried night exploring at an old mall in Akron and got busted by cops in under 20 minutes
I thought hitting the Rolling Acres mall after dark would make it less risky. Wrong. My buddy and I went in through a busted side door around 2 AM. We barely made it to the old food court before flashlights hit us from across the corridor. Cops showed up in 17 minutes I checked my phone on the way out. Ticket for trespassing and a stern warning plus we got nothing good on camera. Anyone else have a night trip go sideways fast?

Seventeen minutes is fast, did they roll up in a cruiser or catch you on some kind of silent alarm?

That seventeen minute response time reminds me of the time @kim.xena, our neighbor's cat set off their security system three nights in a row and the cops finally showed up on the fourth night just to see if it was a real person this time. They just sat there in their cruiser for twenty minutes eating donuts and watching the cat walk across the driveway before the alarm went off again. Real professional response time has a lot more to do with how bored the dispatcher is than how fast your alarm company calls.

So did your alarm company actually call to verify, or were they just forwarding the noise?
