Appreciation post for that one AI tool that saved my weekend

I was building a small app for a side project and got stuck on sorting user data for like 3 hours. Tried tweaking the code myself but kept making it worse. Then I fed the whole mess into an AI code assistant and it showed me a simpler approach using a built-in function I didn't even know existed. It worked on the first try and I finished the whole thing by Sunday night. Has anyone else had an AI tool fix something you thought was impossible?

Haha right? I spent like four hours once fighting with a regex pattern that was just completely broken. Finally threw it at an AI and it spat out something that worked in two seconds. Honestly felt a little dumb but mostly just relieved because I had other stuff to do that weekend. The thing is these tools are great for those moments when you've been staring at the same problem so long your brain turns to jelly. They can spot the obvious fix you missed because you were too deep in the weeds. But I still maintain I'm a real programmer because I can break stuff way faster than any AI can fix it.
