Bought a $40 AI recipe generator. It told me to put peanut butter on a steak.
Thought it would help with meal prep. The 'spicy peanut steak' was a disaster. Anyone else get burned by a weird AI suggestion?

Peanut butter on steak is just a bad recipe, not some tech disaster. People put weird stuff on meat all the time before AI was a thing. My uncle used to swear by grape jelly in his meatloaf. It's not the AI's fault you tried it, it's just a dumb idea from a cheap program.

Ruby's onto something with the Thai fusion idea, but I'm pretty sure the AI just smashed two random foods together. For forty bucks that thing should at least warn you about the sticky, nutty mess you're about to create. Next it'll probably tell someone to make grilled cheese with whipped cream.
