Copilot drafting my angry email was scarier than writing it myself
Last Tuesday I had to complain to my internet provider about a $78 overcharge that took two calls to fix. I typed a rough draft into the AI chat just to see what it would say, and it came back so polite and structured that my actual anger looked unreasonable next to it. The thing is, it caught a billing code error I missed entirely, so the rep fixed it in 5 minutes after weeks of me getting nowhere. Now I'm wondering if I should run everything through these tools before I hit send, but it honestly makes me feel like my own judgment is the weak link. Anyone else trust the AI summary more than your own first reaction these days?
