Debate: Was my AI art generator fail my fault or the tool's?
Last Tuesday I used Midjourney to create a logo for a client's coffee shop and it gave me a 6 fingered hand holding a cup with tentacles. I spent 2 hours tweaking prompts before giving up and doing it manually with a pen and paper. Is this a user error or is the tech just not there yet for specific tasks like hands and logos?

Have you tried counting your own fingers lately? I'm genuinely worried I only have 4 after the time I spent wrestling with AI art.

Honestly I think this one is on you. Midjourney has never been good at hands or text, everyone knows that. It's been a known issue for over a year now so expecting clean logos with fingers is asking for trouble. The tentacle thing is weird but that's what happens when you push a generative model to do something it's not built for. These tools are great for mood boards or rough concepts but not final client work. You're better off using it for inspiration then doing the real design yourself.
