Got a stubborn AI to finally understand my voice commands by changing one setting
My Google Home kept messing up my morning routine for months, turning on the wrong lights. I was ready to throw it out the window. I finally found a buried setting called 'Voice Match' and retrained it for 10 minutes in my quiet kitchen. Now it listens perfectly. Has anyone else had to retrain their smart speaker to get it to work right?

Is it really that big of a deal to spend ten minutes fixing a light? I just use the switch on the wall if my speaker acts up. In my opinion, getting that upset over a gadget feels like a waste of energy. It's just a little machine that messes up sometimes. Maybe we expect too much from these things.

Honestly why do we even put up with this stuff lol. @val_singh's story is funny but it's just a plastic box, I'm not gonna feel judged by it.

My Alexa kept ordering cat food for six months because it thought my voice was my neighbor's. I had to do the voice training three separate times in a dead silent room, and I still feel judged by the little blue light. It's like the machine finally accepted that yes, this is the sad human who lives here.
