Hot take: I laughed at AI art until a client paid me $500 for a poster I made with Midjourney
Back in 2023 I was one of those guys ranting about how it would never replace real creativity. Then a local coffee shop in Austin asked for a mural design and I used it to rough out concepts in 20 minutes what would've taken me 3 days. Has anyone else had a tool they hated turn out to be useful for the boring parts?

Totally changed my mind after using it for sketching out ideas fast.

First week using it I accidentally closed a tab without saving and thought I lost everything. Took me a minute to realize it auto-saves every few seconds, @michaelchen that was the moment it clicked for me too. Now I use it to block out rough website layouts before I even open a proper design tool. Saves me from staring at a blank page for half an hour.
