Watched 4 product demos at a Phoenix meetup last week and in every single one, the agent got 90 percent of the way there and then someone on stage had to manually approve the last step. That is not an agent, that is a really fast form filler with a permission slip. The worst part is the crowd still clapped like we just watched a robot land on Mars. If your AI still needs a meat puppet to sign off, when does it actually count as autonomous?
