My AI transcription bot crashed during a 90 minute client call yesterday

I was using Whisper to handle notes for a meeting with a new client in Chicago. Everything was fine for the first hour, then it just stopped writing. I checked the logs and it had a memory error after processing 45 minutes of audio. Had to scramble to take manual notes for the rest of the call, which totally threw me off. I'm running it on a local machine with 16GB RAM, which should have been enough. Has anyone else hit a hard limit on audio length with local AI models? I need something that can handle long sessions without falling over.

Check your audio sample rate, not just RAM.
