My buddy the AI engineer told me to just let GPT write my grocery list

So my friend Mark, who works at one of those AI startups in Austin, kept bugging me to use ChatGPT for everything. He said it would save me time on boring stuff like making a grocery list. Last week I finally tried it. I typed in "make me a weekly meal plan and grocery list for a guy who eats like a bachelor." It gave me this fancy list with quinoa, kale, and something called tahini. I don't even know what tahini is. I went to HEB and spent $87 on stuff I've never bought before. Got home and realized I didn't have any of the basics like bread or eggs. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of weird ingredients and no clue what to cook. Has anyone else had AI give you a food list that totally missed the mark?

Yeah but tahini though, that stuff is just sesame seed paste. I bought it once for some recipe and it just sat in my fridge forever. The AI doesn't get that real bachelor meals are like frozen pizza with extra cheese thrown on top, or eggs and toast, or a can of chili. It gave me quinoa which is basically just fancy rice that costs more. You spent all that money and now you're probably gonna order takeout anyway because you don't feel like cooking with weird stuff.

Read an article saying AI doesn't know what normal people actually eat.

Better hope that tahini comes with instructions, because my bachelor cooking skills max out at "turning the oven to 400." At least you now have a very expensive science experiment in your fridge.
