Ran the same prompt through two AI tools, the gap surprised me

I've been testing AI writing helpers for my job bids and client emails, and last week I put the exact same job description into a free online tool and a paid one I got for $20 a month. The paid one caught three missing details about permits and material specs that the free one totally skipped, and it sounded way more like a real contractor talking instead of a robot. Has anyone else compared tools side by side like that, or did I just get lucky with the paid one?

Drove myself crazy doing the same thing a few months back. Ended up testing four tools on the same client brief, and honestly the free one made me sound like a robot that took a marketing class. The paid ones were better at catching the little stuff, like local code rules and specific materials, but one of them tried to add a bunch of fluff that made no sense for a construction bid. Kind of feels like picking a crew, you never know which one shows up to do the real work until you test them yourself. What did you end up doing with the better version, did you just tweak it or run with it as is?
