Saw a clear difference in my anime taste after I turned 30
I used to only watch action shonen stuff like Naruto and Bleach, but then I gave Violet Evergarden a shot last year and realized I'd been missing slower, character-driven shows for over a decade. Has anyone else had their preferences flip like that after a certain age?

Agree 100% @grant.sam, it's like my brain COMPLETELY recalibrated. I used to zone out during slow scenes but now I'm locked in the whole time. Makes every show feel tighter or something.
