Three rewatches of the same arc, totally different show each time
I mean, I used to just blast through a series and move on, you know? Then last month I rewatched the Chimera Ant arc for the third time and caught a whole side plot with the narrator's timing I never noticed before. Turns out I was always watching for the fights and big moments, but now I slow down and pay attention to the small character beats between episodes. That shift happened after I started taking notes on my phone, just one line per episode, nothing fancy. It's weird how a 61-episode stretch feels longer and shorter at the same time now. Has anyone else had a rewatch totally change their opinion on a show they already loved?
Notes are the secret, man. Even writing down one dumb thought per episode forces your brain to watch differently, and suddenly the slow parts hit like they were the whole point.
