Client back in 2019 told me my fridge repairs were too clean
Guy in Cleveland said I spent way too much time making the inside of his fridge look nice after swapping a compressor. Told me just fix the damn thing and move on. At first I thought he was just being rude but honestly he had a point. I was spending 20+ minutes wiping down shelves and organizing stuff that wasn't part of the job. Now I just do a quick wipe and get to the next call. Anyone else had a customer call them out on something like that?

Right? Sometimes the extra mile is just extra time you don't have.

Honestly, I kind of disagree. Going that extra mile is what sets you apart and saves you from redoing stuff later.
