Customer said my work was 'too clean', now I second guess myself
Had a regular client last Thursday in Dayton call me back after I fixed their washer. Thought it was going to be a complaint about a leak or a drum noise. Nope. They said my repair was 'too clean'. They told me I left the machine spotless, no fingerprints, no dust, and it made them suspicious I didn't actually open it up. I laughed it off but it stuck with me. I spend 15 extra minutes wiping down every unit because I hate leaving a mess. Now I'm wondering if a little dirt makes people trust the work more. Like, do we need to look like we struggled? Has anyone else gotten feedback like that? Did you change your process or just shrug it off?

Well that's a new one, who complains about clean work?
