Vent: Bought a $150 'universal' dryer motor that fried in two days

It was a knockoff part that overheated and took the belt with it, costing me a whole afternoon and a customer. Anyone else got a reliable source for Maytag parts?

AppliancePartsPros.com, never had a dud from them.

Right, never a dud. I got a whole new drum support roller kit for my dryer from them. It was the only place that had the exact model number kit, not just a "should fit" part. Thing runs quieter than it did when it was new.

Totally agree with @luna891 on that! I ordered a weird little plastic clip for my dishwasher door from them last year. It was the exact match, and it's still holding strong. Felt like a real win fixing it myself. They just seem to have the right parts when other sites are guessing.
