Walked through a laundromat yesterday and noticed something off about every single dryer
I stopped into a laundromat on 3rd Street to drop off a flyer and I couldn't help myself. Every dryer had a clogged lint trap or a broken vent boot. I counted 8 out of 12 units running way hotter than they should. The owner said he hasn't had them serviced in over 2 years. It just got me thinking how many of these places are ticking fire hazards and nobody calls anyone. Has anyone else ever walked into a random place and spotted obvious appliance problems right away?

Hear me out but maybe you're overthinking this one. I go to a laundromat twice a week and half the stuff there is held together with duct tape and hope, but nobody's house has burned down yet. Sometimes the cheap fix works just fine even if it looks sketchy to someone with an eye for details.

Yeah but @luna891, a laundromat's old machines aren't the same as messing with live wires in your walls.
