I know everyone swears by the 3-ton floor jack, but my little 1.5-ton from Harbor Freight has been my go-to for 90% of jobs for the last 4 years.

Honestly, people act like you need a monster jack for everything. That little one gets the job done most of the time.

Reminds me of my old boss who insisted on buying the biggest power tools. We used a basic drill for 90% of the jobs, and that giant thing just collected dust. Sometimes the simple tool is the right one.

My uncle's garage is basically a museum for unused giant tools, all bought for that "one big job" that never happens. Sean_johnson16 is right, it's like some guys think a bigger tool makes them better at the job. They get sold on the power fantasy and end up with a heavy paperweight. My neighbor's massive impact wrench has seen less action than my basic screwdriver set.
