Just realized my impact wrench was spinning the wrong way and I chased a bolt for 20 minutes in the O'Reilly parking lot

I was swapping a wheel bearing on my 2011 Civic in the O'Reilly lot on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie because my garage was full of junk. I hit the trigger and the lug just sat there while I kept thinking the nut was seized, so I sprayed it with PB Blaster twice and cussed a lot. Turns out the forward/reverse collar got bumped in my bag, and once I flipped it back the nut spun off in about 3 seconds. Any of you keep a marker line on the collar so you can see the setting at a glance?
