A ranger in Yosemite told me the JMT is only 211 miles, not 220 like I always thought

I pulled out my old guidebook from 2004 and sure enough, it says 220. She said they re-measured it with GPS back in 2015 and knocked off those 9 miles. Anyone else have an old map or book that turned out to be off on mileage?
