Saw the Big Sur coastline transform after last winter's storms in just 4 months

I hiked the Pine Ridge Trail in August and it was still a mudslide mess from the 2023 rains, but when I went back in December, the rerouted sections were actually smoother and had way better views. Has anyone else noticed how fast the forest service can rebuild trails when they actually get funding?

Ha, right? Watch them fix a trail before a pothole in the city.

Oh wow, government workers actually moving fast for once. Guess they figured out the trails make more money than the conference rooms.
