Solo or group when things go sideways on the trail
I was hiking the Ozark Trail last fall and took a wrong turn on a faded marker, ended up 4 miles off route with water running low. Do you stick it out alone and figure your own way back, or do you wait for another hiker to group up with and split the risk?
