Update: The trail to Lake Serene in Washington was way more crowded than I expected for a Tuesday.

We saw maybe 50 people on a 7 mile out and back, which felt like a lot for a weekday. Anyone else notice popular routes getting busier on off days too?

Fifty people on a Tuesday? That's wild. I was up there last month on a Thursday and maybe saw ten people total. It feels like the secret's totally out now.

Blamed my bad sense of direction for missing the trailhead. Took me an hour to find parking on a random Saturday. Saw 30 people crammed into that first viewpoint. Felt like I was at a bus stop instead of a hike. Guess I'm part of the problem now too.
